Braces Put In for Forms for Concrete Cap

Today (Thursday, June 24) the Waterfront Engineering crew began putting in the braces needed to support the forms for the concrete caps which will be poured later.  The braces are screwed to the new seawall panels.  Before the cap is installed anchors will be installed and a filler material will be poured into the void between the old wood seawall and the new heavy vinyl seawall.  More pictures taken today can be seen in the Photo Album entitled "Construction Progress (Week Four)."  This link is on the right side of this page.
