Beginning of Concrete Cap on New Seawall

During Week 6 (July 5-10), about 400 feet of the concrete cap on top of the new seawall was poured.  Forms for the completed concrete work also were removed.  The anchors that extend from the cap into the ground behind the seawall can be easily seen.  Eventually, after crush concrete filler is poured between the new and old seawalls, dirt will be put down deep enough to cover the anchor rods seen in this picture.
