Concrete for the cap will be poured Thursday (August 19) in these forms near the end of the West seawall. In this picture it can be seen that the cap and some of the old seawall had to be removed to make room for the braces for the concrete forms. This, in turn, required a lot of digging to make room for the men to do this work. Meanwhile, members of the Waterfront Engineering installation crew are pounding in anchors, attaching braces, and build forms for the South seawall this week. (Pictures of this work can be seen in the Photo Album labeled Twelfth Week Progress.)
