Today Rob Robertson, the project director for the Grenelefe Estates seawall project informed me that the construction of the new seawall is finished. I've enjoyed watching the work progress over the past few months.
I was very much impressed with the work of the four men from the Waterfront Engineering company that were here almost every day. They were very competent in the many different aspects of building the seawall and they worked long hours and very hard in this summer's extremely hot weather.
And, Rob, an engineer, who volunteered his services, served us well by overseeing the seawall project from beginning to end.
This also completes my blog on the seawall's construction.
Rex,
Once again, thank you for all the wonderful information you provided. The seawall work was to say the least very impressive. Welive at 2 Huntley and I was amazed to see the seawall now has been raised to the level of the patio at the back of the house - which is great because we had concerns that the ground was falling away.
Cheers to all that were involved. Glad it is finally done. See you this winter.
